Meet Edward

Edward A. Mejia is a proud American community leader shaped by faith, humility, and service. Born in Hoboken, New Jersey, and raised in Broward County since 2012, Edward has always believed in helping people find clarity, confidence, and hope.

After graduating from Nova High School, he began his education at Broward College before earning a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Florida International University. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration, expected in April 2026.

Since March 2023, Edward has served in the District Office of Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, working directly with residents across Broward and Palm Beach counties. His role focuses on helping families access resources, guiding people through government services, and showing up in the community with care and consistency.

Grounded in discipline and wellness, Edward starts his days early and stays active so he can serve others with energy, humility, and focus.
