Meet Edward

Edward A. Mejia is the founder of Our Dream Forward, a community platform dedicated to making government easier to understand, connecting people with local resources, and encouraging civic engagement.

Born in Hoboken, New Jersey, and raised in Broward County, Florida, Edward has spent the past several years serving communities across South Florida through public service and community outreach, including his work in the District Office of Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, helping connect residents with federal resources and government services.

Edward believes that informed communities create stronger futures—and that anything is possible when you set your mind to it.
